CloudFerro is a provider of cloud data processing services. It provides and supports cloud computing for specialized markets, including the European space industry, climate research and science.
It has extensive experience in storing and processing large data sets, including multi-petabyte Earth observation satellite data repositories. CloudFerro solutions are used by leading companies and scientific institutions in Europe from various market sectors that process large data sets: European Space Agency (ESA), EUMETSAT, European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts (ECMWF), Mercator Ocean International, German Aerospace Agency (DLR), EGI and many others.
Due to our dynamic development, we are looking to join our team a:
Technology Strategy Analyst
What will be your tasks?
- Researching and analysing companies and solutions that complement the company's offer and capabilities,
- checking business and technical potential, key contracts and solutions,
- application of analytical techniques to research and evaluate projects and ideas,
- analysis influencing decisions on mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships,
- analysing key indicators when evaluating a potential acquisition target,
- convincing others of your point of view based on your analysis and recommendations,
- analysis of the professional services market, especially in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
We are looking for a person who:
- a university degree (preferably in computer science/geoinformatics/physics/mathematics),
- a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (we will consider people who do not have experience but show aptitude for this position and convince us of this in their application),
- understanding of cloud computing technologies and their impact on the professional services market,
- an understanding of the European and global space and Earth observation market, including the Copernicus programme,
- basic knowledge of geospatial data and related services,
- experience in analysing a portfolio of products and services,
- experience in market research,
- knowledge of analytical tools and software (minimum is effective use of MS Excel),
- ability to assess which companies provide competitive and complementary services,
- ability to determine the parameters of the company (revenue, employment, other indicators relevant to value estimation),
- ability to cope with time pressure and changing priorities
- very good knowledge of English (min. C1)
- openness to work hybrid from our office in Warsaw (minimum 2 times a week).
An additional advantage will be:
- understanding of AI and ML technologies in data analysis.
