CloudFerro designs its solutions to minimize environmental impact and maximize energy efficiency. The use of helium-filled Ultrastar drives reduces energy consumption, enhances cooling performance, and lowers CO₂ emissions.
By leveraging virtualization and reusing hardware components, the company extends equipment lifespan, ensuring responsible resources management. Advanced technologies like ArcticFlow Thermal Zone Cooling further optimize energy usage, while delivering high reliability and system performance.

Contest for the best Earth Observation image of the Earth
As a member of the Copernicus Relays, CloudFerro is actively promoting the use of the Copernicus data. One of the most renowned initiatives in this area is the competition "Seize the beauty of our Planet” for the best Earth observation image of the Earth.
The competition “Seize the beauty of our Planet” for the best Earth Observation image of the Earth, organized by CloudFerro, aims to popularize the use of Copernicus data and to inspire the international community to protect Earth’s valuable ecosystems and resources. Each year the event attracts participants from around the world, whose works highlight diverse climate-related challenges.
The theme of the 2024 edition of the contest was the preservation of Earth. The participants were asked to depict places of vital environmental importance that require protection from the threats posed by climate change. Internet users and jury, composed of representatives from leading institutions in the Earth Observation sector, selected the best 13 images.

The company collaborates with many European institutions, such as the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), supporting international partnerships for sustainable development.
