CloudFerro is a provider of cloud data processing services. It provides and supports cloud computing for specialized markets, including the European space industry, climate research and science.
It has extensive experience in storing and processing large data sets, including multi-petabyte Earth observation satellite data repositories. CloudFerro solutions are used by leading companies and scientific institutions in Europe from various market sectors that process large data sets: European Space Agency (ESA), EUMETSAT, European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts (ECMWF), Mercator Ocean International, German Aerospace Agency (DLR), EGI and many others.
Due to our dynamic development, we are looking to join our team a:
Software Development Assistant
What will be your tasks?
- preparation of reports and summaries for the department;
- managing the department's knowledge base on Confluence;
- participating in projects to improve the department's processes and monitoring the progress of defined actions;
- organising team integration outings;
- cooperation with other departments of the company;
- supporting the Head of Department in other tasks related to the running and development of the department's activities.
How do we work:
- The Software Development department consists of over 60 developers, testers, analysts, architects and devops, divided into smaller teams (up to 10 people) dedicated to developing specific components;
- we work on the basis of Scrum/Agile, combining project execution with product building;
- we use tools: Git, Confluence, Jira.
What do we expect:
- Higher education - or in the course of study;
- experience in an assistant position;
- fluent communication in English (C1 level);
- excellent relationship building and communication skills;
- accuracy and meticulousness;
- familiarity with Jira, Confluence;
- knowledge of the Office package;
- analytical thinking.
