CloudFerro is a provider of cloud data processing services. It provides and supports cloud computing for specialized markets, including the European space industry, climate research and science.

It has extensive experience in storing and processing large data sets, including multi-petabyte Earth observation satellite data repositories. CloudFerro solutions are used by leading companies and scientific institutions in Europe from various market sectors that process large data sets: European Space Agency (ESA), EUMETSAT, European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts (ECMWF), Mercator Ocean International, German Aerospace Agency (DLR), EGI and many others.

Due to our dynamic development, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team as a:

What will be your tasks?

  • Leading the system analysis process,
  • analysing needs and preparing/detailing system specifications based on business needs,
  • developing assumptions for testing and acceptance of software,
  • preparing and maintaining technical documentation,
  • modelling activity, sequence and state diagrams for the modules of the designed systems,
  • defining interfaces and communication flows between modules,
  • creating GUI mock-ups for systems
  • participating in the process of continuous improvement of software architecture and development standards,
  • supporting the development team in the execution of integration work,
  • proposing and consulting on system solutions.

We are expecting from you:

  • a university degree, related to sciences (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics),
  • at least 3 years' experience as a System Analyst,
  • experience of working with relational databases and the ability to create SQL queries,
  • knowledge of UML and/or BPMN 2.0 notation,
  • basic knowledge of containerisation, CI/CD, SOA/microservices and monitoring,
  • experience in working with REST APIs,
  • very good analytical skills,
  • very good interpersonal skills in knowledge and requirements acquisition,
  • collaboration in a hybrid model, a minimum of once a week from our office in Warsaw.

An additional advantage will be:

  • experience of working with architectural patterns and good practices for cloud solutions (IaaS),
  • experience of working in a SCRUM team.
