Software Development Engineer in Test
What will be your tasks?
- Preparing, developing and maintaining automated tests (Python);
- verifying and validating solutions in order to ensure the expected quality delivered to customers,
- cooperating as a part of project teams responsible for the implementation of tasks for clients,
- cooperating with the software development and systems administration teams, particularly with regard to product quality requirements,
- managing and maintaining regression regression test,
- reporting work progress according to agreed standards,
- actively participate in the acquisition and sharing knowledge of the latest technologies, and associated good practice, tools and standards to support the achievement of the team's objectives.
We expect from you:
- programming skills for creating automated tests (Python),
- higher education in the field of IT,
- min. 3 years of experience in a related position,
- knowledge of tools supporting the testing process (JIRA, Git, CI/CD (GitLab), Postman, Playwright, K6, Grafana,
- knowledge of designing and developing automated tests in microservices architecture,
- knowledge of: Docker, virtualisation, SQL,
- experience in conducting various types of tests (functional, regression, load tests, etc.),
- knowledge of quality metrics,
- good knowledge of English,
- highly developed skills such as: communication, teamwork, independence, efficiency, creativity and conscientiousness;
- experience in processes related to the release of a solution for production implementation,
- excellent organisation of own work, ability to plan and set priorities.
An additional advantage will be:
- Experience working with open source solutions (Envoy, Keycloack, OpenStack, OPA/OPAL, Redis, RabbitMQ),
- K8s,
- certificates proving your competence (ISTQB),
- experience of working with teams in agile methodologies,
- knowledge of the earth observation sector (acquisition and processing of satellite data),
- interests and knowledge of Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS, GCP, S3).
