We are looking for trainees to join our team as a :
Earth Observation Data Intern
Your responsibilities
- Preparing a STAC catalog for the EO-Pestist project using AI tools and AI agents.
- Developing a simple GUI/data browser for exploring datasets.
- Organizing file naming conventions and data structures.
- Preparing a “lessons learned” report on how AI performs in working with STAC, metadata generation, and GUI development.
- Ideally: building an AI agent or a set of AI agents (related to the tasks above) on Sherlock.
What we are looking for
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Experience working with GEO data and metadata through APIs, preferably with STAC.
- Knowledge of GEO data formats and experience with raster and vector datasets.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Interest in working with AI/LLMs and simple AI agents for task automation.
