As part of ourEnterprise Architecture team, you will help define architectural and engineering standards across the organisation while working directly with product teams on some of our most technically demanding projects — including satellite data processing solutions for ESA.

Due to our dynamic development, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team as a:

Your responsibilities:

  • Defining engineering standards: Establish architectural patterns and best practices across Observability, CI/CD, GitOps and Kubernetes.
  • Supporting engineering teams: Provide hands-on technical guidance and consulting to development teams tackling complex technology, performance and integration challenges.
  • Shaping scalable solutions: Contribute proactively to the design of highly available and scalable systems, taking both technical and business requirements into account.
  • Driving engineering quality: Promote clean coding practices in Python and Go, TDD, effective code reviews and the use of AI-powered tools to improve engineering workflows and productivity.

Tech stack & engineering standards:

  • Core & Code: Python, Go (experience or willingness to learn), Linux.
  • Observability: Prometheus, Thanos / Prometheus Operator, ELK.
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Argo CD, Git, OpenTofu.
  • Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.
  • Nice to have: NATS, Temporal, OpenBao.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 8 years of commercial software engineering experience, including building high-performance distributed systems and a strong understanding of the architectural challenges involved.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or Go, with a solid understanding of clean code principles and high engineering standards.
  • A good understanding of Kubernetes from an application perspective, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing standards for CI/CD, GitOps and Observability, particularly with Prometheus and Thanos.
  • The ability to share knowledge, lead constructive technical discussions and support other engineers in solving complex problems.
  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field and good working proficiency in English.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, with at least 3 days per week from our Warsaw office.
