CloudFerro is a provider of cloud data processing services. It provides and supports cloud computing for specialized markets, including the European space industry, climate research and science.
It has extensive experience in storing and processing large data sets, including multi-petabyte Earth observation satellite data repositories. CloudFerro solutions are used by leading companies and scientific institutions in Europe from various market sectors that process large data sets: European Space Agency (ESA), EUMETSAT, European Center for Medium-Range Forecasts (ECMWF), Mercator Ocean International, German Aerospace Agency (DLR), EGI and many others.
Due to our dynamic development, we are looking to join our team a:
IT Project Manager
What will be your tasks?
- Management of projects related to the area of cloud computing, big data storage systems, data management systems,
- responsibility for planning and managing project schedules and budgets,
- ensuring positive customer relations,
- ensuring effective communication at all levels of project involvement,
- communication with customers on the implementation and maintenance of the delivered solutions, including participation in status meetings, escalations, current and periodic reporting;
- cooperation within CloudFerro internal structures responsible for sales and implementation of projects for clients,
- cooperation with technical teams at the stages of defining the scope, planning, implementation and maintenance of a project,
- planning, organising and controlling work at all stages of project implementation,
- risk management,
- responsibility for managing project documentation,
- reporting on progress to the PMO and the Management Board,
- taking an active part in acquiring and sharing knowledge of the latest technologies and related good practices, tools;
- standards in order to support the achievement of the team's objectives.
We expect from you:
- a technical background (computer science, electronics, telecommunications or similar);
- min. 3 years' experience of working in an IT environment as a Project Manager,
- experience of working with IT specialists in various fields and technologies,
- strong analytical skills,
- fluent English - fluent communication (at least C1),
- highly developed interpersonal skills: communicativeness, teamwork, self-reliance, efficiency, creativity and conscientiousness, patience;
- willingness to share knowledge and experience,
- excellent organisation of own work, ability to plan and set priorities,
- an orientation towards quality and punctuality of the tasks performed,
- willingness to work hybrid from our office in Warsaw.

- basic knowledge of software development processes,
- experience in analysing and preparing requirements for information systems,

- knowledge of the earth observation sector (satellite data acquisition and processing).

Project Management
At the PMO, we deliver projects for external and internal clients. We coordinate project work and define standards, rules for the creation and management of project documentation. We coordinate activities to achieve the objectives of our projects. We prepare project assumptions, plan, delegate tasks, monitor the scope of the schedule and project budget.
